What is Arumee?
Arumee is a premium oil brand based in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. We produce pure cold-pressed coconut oil and wooden-pressed (marachekku) groundnut & gingelly (sesame) oils at Mani Flour & Oil Mill. All oils are FSSAI certified (licence 22425133000137), free of chemicals and preservatives, and delivered free within Tamil Nadu.
Is Arumee oil truly cold-pressed?
Yes. All our oils are cold-pressed at low temperature — well below the threshold that destroys natural nutrients, antioxidants, and aroma. Our groundnut and gingelly oils are extracted using the traditional wooden marachekku press; our coconut oil is cold-pressed with no heat treatment, bleaching, or chemical solvents at any stage.
Why is cold-pressed oil better than refined oil?
Refined oils undergo high-heat processing, chemical bleaching, and deodorizing — stripping away natural vitamins, antioxidants, and flavour. Cold-pressed oils retain their full nutritional profile including Vitamin E, natural antioxidants like sesamol (in gingelly oil) and lauric acid (in coconut oil), along with authentic aroma and taste.
Is delivery free? Where do you deliver?
Yes, all Arumee orders include free delivery within Tamil Nadu. We currently deliver only within Tamil Nadu. We’ll expand to other states soon. We dispatch from our mill in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. Most orders arrive within 3–5 business days.

Online delivery pricing may differ from direct mill purchase pricing because it includes packaging, order handling, and transportation to your address. The total online amount covers these delivery-related costs for doorstep convenience.
How do I pay for my order?
Orders are placed via WhatsApp. Once you discuss and confirm your order in the chat, you pay upfront via UPI — then your oil is packed and dispatched. Free delivery within Tamil Nadu.

Yes. Arumee is licensed and certified by FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) under licence number 22425133000137, operated by Mani Flour & Oil Mill, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu.
