How each edition works

A new edition is prepared for each trading day and usually published by 8:00 am Singapore time (SGT). For every company it gives the latest verified price with its date, the news in one line, the negatives, the main risk, what to watch next, and a link to the original source. Each edition also lists the general news that may move markets that day.

Questions, answered

What is Market Scout?
Market Scout by Arumee is a free daily market letter. It covers selected companies listed in India, Singapore, China mainland, Hong Kong and the US, and explains what happened, why it matters and the risks worth reading twice.
When is Market Scout updated?
A new edition is prepared for each trading day and is usually published by 8:00 am Singapore time (SGT). Dates and times on the site are in Singapore time.
Which markets and stock exchanges does it cover?
India (NSE and BSE), Singapore (SGX), China mainland (Shanghai SSE and Shenzhen SZSE), Hong Kong (HKEX) and the US (NYSE and Nasdaq).
Are the share prices live?
No. Each price is the latest verified price in the edition and shows the date it is from. Always check the current quote with your broker or the exchange before you act.
Is Market Scout investment advice?
No. Market Scout is educational news context. It does not consider your financial situation, does not recommend buying or selling, and does not promise returns. Do your own research before making any decision.
What do Big, Mid and Penny shares mean?
They group companies by size as labelled in each edition. Penny and low-priced shares can be very volatile and hard to sell quickly, so read each company’s risk notes carefully.
Where does the news come from?
Each edition is prepared by Buddy, Arumee’s research assistant. Every company note and market news item links to its original source, with a date, so you can read it in full.
How can I request a company that is not covered?
Search for it in any market, or open the Request tab, pick the company from the official listing and send it. If Buddy can verify the details and the daily request limit allows, a new request usually appears in a same-day update within 30 minutes during market hours. Requests outside market hours or waiting for space stay in the queue for a later edition. If other readers already asked for it, you can add a +1.
How do favorites and notifications work?
A company you successfully request is automatically added to Favorites on this device. You can also tap the star on any share. Turn on “Notify me” in Favorites to receive browser alerts when Buddy reports verified new company news. Create a private sync PIN to keep your favorites across devices.
Is Market Scout free?
Yes. Market Scout is free to read, with no sign-up and no account.

Market Scout is educational news context, not investment advice. Prices are not live quotes; check them with your broker or the exchange before acting.
